Comparing this April to last April is interesting…and crazy! Remember where we were mentally this time last year? Just coming to terms with lockdown, closures, unemployment, and the realization that covid was going to be more than just two weeks of trying to flatten the curve. Here we are a year later still trying to figure out how to make the best of life during a pandemic. As the market will attest, part of that process for many has been reevaluating home and personal space. Working from home, schooling from home, and socializing at home have inspired many renters to become homeowners and homeowners to level up to “forever homes” that will continue to fit the day-to-day needs of life during and after the pandemic. But in both cases, moving means finding a house and inventory is stuck at an all time low. We have faith that the market will level out. It always does. So, if you’re up for the challenge then keep writing those offers. And if you want to take some time off to let things settle, that’s fine too. Scouts are here whenever you need us.
